New version of APIdoc IntelliJ IDEA Plugin
I’ve released a new version (1.1.0) of the APIdoc IntelliJ IDEA plugin.
This version supports proxy servers that require authenticaton. The proxy settings are now picked up from the general IDEA settings rather than being specified within the APIdoc plugin configuration.
The new release requires IDEA 5.0. You can upgrade using the IDEA plugin manager.

I am running IntelliJ 5.1.1 and the APIdoc plugin does not work. I just get a “Search failed” dialog box with null written in it. If I try and add my APIdoc login details in the settings I get the same dialog box with the same error.
Anyone have this working with Intellij 5.1 or 5.1.1
Thanks,
Serge

The search failed issue Serge described was a compatibility issue between the APIdoc plugin and another plugin that used commons-logging (IdeaSpring).
Version 1.1.1 of the APIdoc plugin fixes the problem.

I tried using 1.1.1 of this plugin with/without Idea Spring (1.2.7) while running IntelliJ 5.1.2. I still get the “407 Proxy Authentication Required” error when trying to set email id and password. I checked the proxy settings in IntelliJ general section and also downloaded all the plugins list under plugin section to verify the proxy settings are working just fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Madhav’s issue has been resolved in version 1.1.2 of the plugin, released today. See http://blog.apidoc.org/2006/07/13/intellij-idea-plugin-v112-released/ for details.
